As of July 27, 2017 the National Tire Recycling Group (NTRG) became the new Owner of the existing site and have committed to recycling tires and rubber waste by investing our own resources and time. The company was incorporated at the end of 2016 and has operated since by its founders. NTRG has a strong desire and commitment to the local community of Ponoka and Albertans.

National Tire Recycling Group is a new to the industry, but we bring years of experience from previous construction and financial sectors, as well as deep research in the industry to be well prepared for the challenges ahead of us. We have conducted cost and economic research in relation to start a tire and rubber waste recycling business. We have also extensively looked into growing, expansion, and profit generation to a level of a competing business in Alberta. We have carefully examined key factors such as, location, pricing, and prospective growth in order to streamline our company. The location we chose to start our tire and rubber recycling company is key to the success of the business.
We understand, in order to have a successful business, it takes dedication, hard work, and determination. We have been in close contact with reputable companies who will provide us the adequate and proper equipment for our business. One of the major challenges we are likely going to face is the presence of well-established tire and rubber waste recycling companies in target market location. Some other challenges that we are likely going to face is economic downturn, stiff competition, volatile cost, as well as rising fuel prices.
